Rates set to rise in Southeastern states

North Carolina and surrounding states are seeing rising rates in the wake of Hurricane Florence. More than 1,000 roads are closed with no access in or out some parts of the state including the port town of Wilmington. Emergency freight followed by construction supplies and cleanup equipment will arrive soon after damages are assessed. Rates increase when major weather events like Hurricane Florence make delivery of critical supplies difficult and even dangerous.
